Ford Motor Company Global PD Operations Communications Lead Designer in Dearborn, Michigan

This team requests EST hours and we prefer candidates able to work onsite from our Dearborn, MI office.

Submitting a design portfolio will be required, looking for information-heavy work examples such as infographics, publications, presentations, interfaces, etc.

Ideal Candidate Is:

A hybrid creative professional with a successful track record of independently crafting concept, copy and design. An analytical thinker, comfortable working with complex and specialized subject matter. Self-motivated, comfortable with working independently and being the primary communications design advocate within your team. Able to prioritize and manage deadlines, working quickly and collaboratively when presented with quick project turnaround times.

What you'll have

  • 5+ years professional design experience, ideally including some agency experience.

  • Demonstrated ownership of all stages of the design process, and stewardship of projects with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere and/or After Effects, as well as Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Experience designing for a variety of mediums, including print, digital and environmental / experiential.

  • Experience with motion graphics and video production, including planning, editing, and some on-set experience.

  • Experience with infographics / data visualization is a plus.

This position is a range of salary grades LL6.
