Ford Motor Company SAP Project Manager in India
I-ERP is a multi-year program modernizing Finance and Purchasing business processes and applications to drive operational efficiency and material cost reduction by adopting industry-leading practices. I-ERP touches on several Ford+ Points including, but not limited to, Modernize Everywhere and Partner for Experience and Efficiency.
This position will allow candidates to learn various aspects of SAP implementation and gain technical expertise.
Assist in the planning, preparation, and execution of system/business cutover for I-ERP
Assist in creating and managing Gantt chart, deployment plans, system refresh plans, and other integration activities
Assist in the preparation of the systems, helping coordinate cross-team preparation of plan and execution of build, load, and validation activities
Support Cutover activities including preparation of daily cutover status, data validation
Support the management of related cutover defects
Support the coordination of activities of a wide team of system integrators, SAP functional experts, technical experts, legacy teams, etc.
Assist with the Business team engagement and communication as required
Support monitoring and managing defect reports, issue task initiation, and track completion of individual cutover tasks
Support and update Milestone charts, defect coordination, and reporting
SAP certification
Proficiency in SAP landscape, SAP Transport Management, and ChaRM
Experience in SAP either as a Functional or Technical resource
Strong project management skills, including proficiency in Microsoft project and Excel.
Proven ability to manage relationships with stakeholders in upgrade/implementation projects
Capability to comprehend overall solutions and dependencies across multiple systems to ensure project success
Understanding of system builds, planning, and ability to lead teams through complex issues
Positive "can-do" attitude
